The endeavors of the Union resulted in issuing resolutions by the competent identities enhancing the industrial sector. For instance:
• The ministerial resolution No. (104/secondly) for the year 2001 of establishing Kuwait exportation industry
development
• Issuing the decree No. 259/2003 regarding establishing a committee supervising priority provisions stipulated for
purchasing the domestic goods and products by the governmental organizations and public institutions.
• Banning exportation of the basic material that can be domestically recycled like metal scraps and paper waste.
• Establishing Anti-Dumping section in the (P.A.I).
• Decreasing the interest rate on industrial loans by the Industrial Bank of Kuwait.
• Approval of the agenda of fostering the national product in oil sector.
• Approval of the agenda of fostering the national product in the ministry of public works.
Sharing in the industrial resolutions through the Union membership in the committees and the specialized team works, such as:
A membership in the Board of the (P.A.I).
A membership in the committee of supporting the national product and subsidiary team works (the ministry of commerce and industry).
The membership of the committee formed under decree No. 259/2003 and entitled to establish a committee supervising the execution processes of priority provisions stipulated for purchasing the domestic products by the governmental and public organizations and institutions.
The membership of the technical competent committee in the (P.A.I) in its capacity as the committee determining the specifications and measurements … etc.
The membership of committee entitled to follow up and revise the role of private sector in reconstructing Iraq, the committee headed by the minister of commerce and industry.
The membership in the qualification and development committee of the exporting industrial establishments.
